in my experience - very case dependent, runs the gamut of fully remote to fully in person. travel is more to co-locate teams than to go to client sites (though some cases do necessitate this - have a friend who was out visiting factories recently)
you can express a preference either way for travel, but this obviously is not guaranteed

Truly nobody knows. Probably a mix of travel and non-travel with a ton of variance based on preferences of your client & internal teams plus demands of the project
