MBB Yet-to-hear-back 1R interview
I sense that there are still a few of us waiting on certain invites (or rejects), so I thought I'd create a dedicated thread here if you'd like to look for people likely in the same boat and share info should you have any.
I'm waiting for McK - (Bay Area, SoCal, Miami)
One of my close friends attends UC Berkeley, and she applied for McK Bay Area offices. She applied on the 5th of July and got her game assessment invitation on the 9th. She heard back for a first-round interview on the 20th (this Tuesday) and her first-round interview is now scheduled for early September.
Yup sounds like most of the people are in this camp - I’m thinking the SF offices are done sending out invites. The reason it’s being held up is that one of the other choices have not finalized. For me, my bet is that Miami hasn’t finalized. I’m trying to see if we can see a pattern of hold ups.
I know Bain DC seems to be rolling out rejections and completed invites; i think Bain Boston completed invites too. McK DC sent out invites this week but haven’t heard about rejections

Comment you list of office preferences - Bain NY seems to have completed so it should be some other offices still processing your app.

Has anyone heard from McKinsey Boston office for SA? I haven't been able to find any posts about getting an offer and am wondering (hoping) if the Boston office has just been slow.
i applied for McK NYC after the july 7 deadline, did imbellus on the 14th…if i haven’t heard back should i assume i’ve been dinged, or are they doing it in waves and i’m just not up for consideration yet?

Yeah BCG has been radio silence since the Pymetrics for me and some others I've spoken to.

Is it safe to assume that if people heard back for the office that I applied to that I probably didn’t get it?

If I haven't received a email from Mck or Bain now is it safe to assume I am rejected? Is there a potential they still send an invite after the next deadline when they are only evaluating summer internships and not full time as well

McK already sent out invites last week - not really a good sign. Don’t think anyone has been hard rejected yet.
