McK Investor Support vs. Bain

Hey monkeys,
Looking for advices here.
I'm considering moving towards MBB in France. I have opportunities with Bain (Consultant) or McKinsey (Associate) as a member of the Private Equity & Principal Investors team which involves >50% of PE staffing - (PE staffing is c.30% DD and 70% portfolio support).
Given the fact that I am not certain if I target PE or corporate exit, I was wondering which ones offers the best exit opportunities ?
McKinsey is obviously an overall better brand. But is the PE part well recongized ?
The choice would have been clear for me if the opportunity wasn't with McK PE business. For corporate exit -> Mck, for PE exit -> Bain. But in this situation, isn't McK PE not as good as Bain PE, but loosing the overall brand recongnition from McK ?
Thanks for any advices you may have !

giving a perspective here as an MBBer in the US - they are considered equal here, but not sure about the regional reputation in France. above all else, take the firm with the stronger reputation in your region (it's not necessarily McK)

if both are roughly equal in France, and you dont have a preference for corporate vs PE, then it's really your call. flip a coin, talk to some people. if you were in the US, I would honestly say that you cant go wrong with either firm, and i know several people who have actively chosen bain over McK
