I think there are quite strict rules about describing our public sector work. Not sure what you mean about politics related but many governments make public disclosures about what they have hired consulting firms for.
If you mean whether they advice government what policies to implement I don’t think they do that anywhere. Don’t know about MBB but generally Public Sector consulting does not necessarily differ that much from private sector consulting
