Need Advice - Bad time to switch jobs?
What is the consensus on switching jobs during covid/recession? I had received a corp strat offer from a major transportation service firm back in Feb. Had turned them down but now I am worried I might lose my current Big 4 job. The recruiter said the position is open and they are still willing to take me. I know that the target firm has also had layoffs recently so I am a bit hesitant on the reliability of this verbal offer. Am I looking too much into this? Has anyone else had experience with jumping over to industry during covid?
