NERA summer internship interview

Anyone familiar with NERA's interview process for their summer internships?

Also, what do you guys think would make for a good writing sample? I have more writing to choose from from non-business/econ courses, but do you think I should focus more on those areas?

I applied at the end of January so maybe they haven't gone through everyone's app yet. Took them 4 weeks to get back to me.

Which office did you apply to? I listed Chicago as my number one choice. Best of luck to you on your interview! I've found good NERA interview prep on some of the other WSO threads, the urch forums, and glassdoor.

I didn't actually mention any preference in my application but they emailed me and asked me to rank my top 8. I listed Los Angeles as my number one. They listen the energy practice in chicago as an option too.
