No call back after BCG online test

Dear all,

I applied to an experienced hire position (senior assoc.~beginning consultant) in early February, and heard back 10 days to take the online test. They gave me extremely short notice to take the online test -- two days after the call back.

Of course this application was haphazard, because with my profile I didn't expect to even succeed initial screening; and so the sample questions given were the only preparation. In any case I took it and it's been two weeks, but I'm still not hearing back.

Any thoughts? I'd guess that they would of course, have the results out by now, but they're not giving me any hint. On the other hand, the HR person did say, right after the exam, about how many rounds of interviews were left.

Should I just assume I'm dinged?

When I did basically the same for McK, it took them like 3 weeks since it was off cycle as well. I basically assumed I had been dinged until I heard back from them that I had passed, and am now prepping for 1st round, so keep up hope! Normally MBBs have the courtesy to at least tell you that you've been dinged, so don't assume anything until you've heard for sure/ it's been waaaay too long. And yes, try reaching out if it's been 2 weeks.

I followed up with HR in a shorter time period than what you've waited for. They got back to me very quickly telling me I'd passed.

The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd.
