Non-MBB firms that hire MD's?

Hi,

I'm currently a 4th year medical student at a top 30 US medical school (MBB does not recruit here) and I am interested in healthcare consulting. I have leadership roles in various organizations in college and medical school, and I was planning to apply to positions at MBB and non-MBB firms. I realize that interviews are rigorous and I will definitely prepare for them, and I have prepared my reasoning for the "why switch from medicine" question. My main concern is that I do not have much business experience besides taking a couple of business classes in college. For anyone who is familiar with the APD programs at MBB or non-MBBs, do you have any advice to help enhance my application to get an interview? Also, I was wondering if anyone knew of any specific non-MBB firms that hire MD's?

Thanks everyone for all your help and support in advance

I remember reading in a different thread that LEK and Deloitte also have ADP programs. Plus, LEK will apparently put those with the right backgrounds into a life science speciality group, rather than just putting you in a generalist role like the other firms, if that's something you're interested in.
