Preliminary Interviews at MBB
I'm a non-diversity candidate and I'm curious what the timeline others had from similar backgrounds to hearing back for preliminary interviews, specifically at Bain and BCG (McKinsey doesn't open until June 15th for me). I applied about a week ago to each and haven't heard anything yet and am wondering if this was the case for everyone or if I'm out of luck for these two. Thanks.
In Europe, my timeline was about 2 weeks after the online tests before I heard I was through to the interviews. I was invited to those tests within 24h of applying though. For all 3.
Then for interviews themselves, I got feedback the day of, or the very next working day.
at my target only BCG is open currently
Yea idk that Bain is actually open but it had applications open for associate consultant intern on their website (didn't specify year) so I just submitted on there just in case it is cuz I want to get mine in early. I didn't get an automatic response with assessments or anything like that just a confirmation that my app was submitted so I wasn't sure. My school is a target as well so I assume I'll get notified on our careers website when it is officially up for 2023 summer.
