Recruiting for Consulting FT with potential return offer
I just wrapped up my internship in the CIB of a large bank (not in IB itself) and am interested in recruiting for consulting FT. I will find out about my return offer status at my internship shortly and rumor has it we'll have just 2 weeks to accept after that. If I do get the RO is there any way to contact and ask consulting firms to expedite their own timelines to this really fast deadline, or is it not worth it? I don't want to reach out before getting the RO because I think that would be presumptuous...

Some firms will expedite, some won't
Just reneg later if you get an offer you'd prefer (assuming the consequences with your university aren't dire)

BCG and Bain aren't hosting accelerated recruitment this year, fyi
What's your evidence for this? Accelerated recruiting is usually quite an informal process and depends on both the office recruiting team and individual asking for it.
BCG isn't hosting an accelerated recruitment process for anyone. It's because they told me and many others at different schools/offices.
