Typically we ask that people wait at least 1 year between applications. The rationale is that it would probably take about 1 year for your profile / experience / skills to change significantly enough to be considered again.
so if I recruited going into my senior year (summer 2024, and graduating this spring) would I ideally reapply this coming summer, or would it be best to wait until summer 2026 once i’ve been working for around a year?
Something like that yes. But of course, if your resume / experience has shifted more significantly in under a year, then shoot your shot. Honestly, you can even wait one more year if you want. Better to do it once well than several times ineffectively (if you are able to)
Typically after a year of work experience but I wouldn't hold my breath on lateral hiring in the near future unless demand for consulting spikes rapidly
