Recruitment Questions

Current rising junior at a non-target applying to different consulting firms with multiple questions.

Does it matter which deadline I apply by and are there any advantages to applying earlier if my resume will look the same? How do I know when a firm releases their 2024 internship roles if they don't have much about it up on their site in the Careers section? Follow up, how do I know if (or where do I find) a firm has multiple deadlines?

Anything about the process will help.

Thank you,

Monkey

My personal take on timing is if your profile is good enough to pass CV screening in R1, it will be good enough for R2, and if you're good enough in caseing / interviewing to pass, you'll likely get an offer either way. Other things equal, if you don't expect your profile / skills to improve between rounds, earlier is better.

As for dates, I believe Management Consulted collects deadlines here for the US (Europe is more patchwork, because more countries): link.
