Restructuring/Turnaround Consulting Interview

Have an interview with a non-Big 4 (Top 10) accounting firm’s Restructuring/Turnaround Consulting group.

I’m scheduled to interview with 5 different people. The total interview time will be 2.5 hours.

Any tips for the interview? Should I expect a case study? I’m coming from a Commercial/Corporate Banking background (2+ yrs) so I have not done case study interviews before. How technical should this be? It would appear that I’m meeting with 5 different people for 30 minutes each, perhaps?

Thanks!

I think case studies are fairly typical for RX consulting. I know we usually do them for our interviewees. However, we do them as a take-home case study rather than case format interviews.

Our case studies tend to be focused on assessing your thought process first and your technical finance and accounting skills second. Generally, we do not expect rx specific knowledge from individuals coming from a non-rx background.

However, this is just my experience in my group in my office, so YMMV.
