Retail banking analyst moving into fixed income
How easy would it be to move into a fixed income analyst position from being an retail banking analyst?
Specifically, I've had 2 years in a management consulting firm working with retail banks' credit data for products like business loans (< USD 75 million) analyzing probability of default, ratings, ratings distributions across the entire lending book etc.
Educational background: Economics bachelor's, average grades.
