S& vs OC&C in London

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if there might happen to be strong opinions on this? I don't really know what I want to do going into the future! My impression was that S& did a broader array of work but that the OC&C brand/exit opps might be better?

I realise I'm in a very lucky position but any help would be much appreciated!

I get the feeling that OC&C is very strong in the UK, quite good in Europe and that's about it. S& has a better global brand name so exit opps are conditional on where you want to work. If we are strictly talking about exit to MBB UK then I think both are probably on par.

As you correctly pointed out, you cover fewer sectors at OC&C which may limit you in the long-run unless you want to specialise in those sectors.
