SAT score for MBB out of semi-target undergrad
Hi! I'm a rising sophomore at a semi-target (UCLA) who is interested in consulting. I was doing some research and found that MBB asks for applicants to put down their SAT or ACT scores. My SAT is 1450, but I fear that because it's not 1500 or above, I won't have a chance. My GPA is over 3.8 and I am in some clubs but I have not been able to make it into the crucial consulting clubs at UCLA.
Obviously, because I'm not at an Ivy, I know my chances are slim anyway, but I'd like to maximize my chances however I can. Thank you!
That'd be a pretty bad use of your time. Focus on getting into the consulting clubs on your campus, getting leadership positions in other clubs, securing a strong brand internship for next summer, networking, and otherwise doing things to build a good resume
Also, given how many schools are test optional, I wouldn't be surprised if you no longer even have to submit your test scores in a couple years
SAT score is good enough for MBB. Referral is what you need to get from semi-target to an interview.
