Should I interview for Deloitte Consulting?

Have a FT offers out of undergrad with other T2 firms (LEK & OW) but also recently was given the opportunity to interview with Deloitte Consulting as a Strategy Analyst. I would interview just to see if it works out but my offer deadlines are coming up for the other firms. Is interviewing at Deloitte worth jeopardizing the offers I currently have?

Are layoffs happening in Consulting? Also why are they hiring if they are also doing layoffs?

Also , I do not think my end goal is something in Finance -rather, I think I am more interested in moving into big tech in a corp strategy role. If that is the case, is Deloitte a better option?

Regardless it probably sounds like I should take the OW

Deloitte has laid of 5% of their consulting division in US according to a news report several months back. In total, it was about 500 people. OW is known to have generous comp for the first few years, and pay way under average for mid positions. OW's sector strengths are financial institutes that make up about 30% of their clients and aviation as well. There is some office influence (e.g. if you work at Chicago office, you're more likely to work in aviation at OW) that you may want to consider at a high level.

As for exit ops, you can go to T15 MBA programs and rerecruit or lateral into Corp Strat/Dev in financial institutions from OW. You can also lateral into MBB (rare) if you prove yourself to be a top performer.

LEK and OW are both so much better than Deloitte. I would not even consider Deloitte but it depends on you I guess.

I work at OW - we have a great culture and exit decently to tech so you would have a good time. However things to consider are a) OW projects themselves will be in FS/healthcare/aviation/manufacturing type sectors and not for big tech and b) big tech exits don't seem to be looking for OW in particular, i.e. might be just as achievable from LEK or Deloitte too (?). I would try to get a similar perspective as above from someone who works at LEK and Deloitte - anecdotally have heard the negatives about them that people have been saying above but those could be misleading.
