Should I Pursue a Double Major in CS + Economics or CS + Cognitive Science for MBB with Tech as Exit?
Hi Monkeys. I am a first year undergraduate at the University of Toronto and am confused to which combination of these double majors I should opt for. Cognitive Science is basically a mixture of Psychology, Philosophy, Neuroscience, and Linguistic. Please do note that it is required for me to double major in order to obtain my degree.
I plan on dwelling the world of consulting and technology and am considering in following the path of Sundar Pichai (Industry Blue Chip (Applied Materials) -> Consulting (McKinsey) -> Industry Startup (Google) ), but would like the freedom to pursue consulting, if I somehow change my mind, straight after undergrad as well. I am not interested in becoming a quant/investment banker.
Any insights on what these combinations would lead for me and which would be best would be appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
