Simon Kucher and Partners
Just got an offer for an interview at Simon Kucher and Partners...has anyone heard of this firm? It's #41 on the Vault 50. I'm a college senior and I've already taken a corporate finance job at a f500 and was wondering if interviewing with this firm would be worth my time.
Thanks.
Decent pricing consultancy, why are you still interviewing?
I had applied a while back before I accepted the offer...
Risk/Reward?
What can you gain, what do you risk? There can be negatives, seeing an awesome place to work and not working there can make a decent company seem bad.
It's not bad. They came to my college once (non target) and were one of the best firms who actually recruited at my school, so they got som of the best applications. They hire smart people and seem like a solid firm. Pay is not in the same league at all as the M/B/B and even Tier 2 consulting firms...but hey, money ain't everything.
Skp is a pretty solid firm, all things considered
Really variable based on what F500 company you're at (corp finance program strength varies greatly)...
Thats true...General Mills FLDP
