Strategy Consulting Exit to Recruiting

I will be starting in strategy consulting this summer. I would ideally like to exit consulting to recruiting when I have a family.

Does anybody know about the feasibility of exiting consulting into recruiting? Could that occur within one's consulting firm? Would that require exiting to a different from?

Thanks

Yeah I know of at least a few people who were at MBB and now work at headhunting firms. It's definitely rare and not something you see too often, but it can be done. If you look at the websites of the big headhunting firms (CPI, Amity, Glocap, etc.), you'll see that a lot of the teams are comprised of ex-bankers. I think the rarity of it for ex-consultants stems less from how hard it is to do and more from a lack of interest.
