Strategy Consulting in Dubai post MBA
Hi All,
Anyone know what my chances are of going to McKinsey / BCG Dubai after INSEAD with low quant gmat score (high verbal) overall 700? Past experience includes associate in M&A at top investment bank (no prior consulting experience).
Also does anyone know what it's like for women working in Dubai / on projects in Saudia Arabia and Qatar?

McK and BCG hire lots of people from INSEAD every year for their Dubai offices. I work for Tier-2 firm (think Strategy&, Booz Allen, OW) in Dubai and even us hire primarily from INSEAD. We have a substantial amount of women consultants (same with MBB) and we have no problem in staffing them in Saudi Arabia or elsewhere in GCC.
Note that Saudi Arabia is the major market for all consulting firms with 90% projects currently being there.
You should be fine for BCG, Bain and McKinsey. Middle east is a bit more lenient in terms of recruiting.
