Recruitment Cycles for 2025 Grads

I am a student graduating in 2025 from a t10. Do you think recruiting for a summer 2024 internship will be easier, harder, or same as recruiting for FT in for 2025? I'm trying to tell if I should accept an offer for next summer at a tier 2 or to continue recruiting for an internship. Since hiring is so tight right now at MBB even for interns, was wondering if it might be worth it to just wait until next year to recruit for FT. Any thoughts?

These aren't mutually exclusive. Accept your T2 intern offer, crush it, get the return offer, and simultaneously recruit for full-time during the summer. There's a good chance your prospective MBB offer comes before you finish your internship (especially if you're applying for the early deadline, which you should). Even if it doesn't, if you're not worried about blacklisting yourself at the T2 you can accept and renege. These companies aren't your friends, don't feel bad about it.

You're in a great position, keep balling.
