Teach For America > Consulting?

Hey y'all--there's a few topics on this but they're a little old.

I'm a senior at a target, who looked into consulting back in the fall but wasn't able to land a role. I'm interested in working on economic development in native reservations, so I'm strongly considering taking an offer I have with Teach for America in South Dakota. Long term, I'm interested in sustainable RE development in marginalized communities, but from my understanding I'd probably want a consulting background and an MBA in order to do that.

Do consulting firms still hire directly from TFA as much as in the past? I know the deferral programs exist but I'm not really able to jump in on that.
