Overblown and outdated. Nothing groundbreaking.
Authors thought this would be an easy chance at a pulitzer and sold like 10k copies
Wonder what “firm” this guy works at
I agree - there isn't a single company that hasn't had a bunch of scandals from Cadbury's slave wage workers to literally every accounting firm cheating their clients out of money to Goldman's intentionally complex and convoluted fee structures. If we really wanted to see what company has had the greatest harm on the world, it'd be a fun assessment, I still think dark tech like Palantir or Instagram (for mental health of young teenagers) has still caused more global harm.
