Tier 2 Firm vs Top Tech Company

Hi all,

I'm currently interning at a big tech company right now ($200B+ in market cap) with a return offer, and I'm wondering if I should go through the work of applying to tier 2 consulting firms (Accenture, Deloitte etc.). My thought process is that when I leave those consulting firms I might just end up going back to a big tech company, so why not save myself the work and just stick with the tech company in the first place. Input from people who've exited consulting for greener pastures would be much appreciated.

Some context about me: target school, rising junior, no consulting experience (but 4 business internships on the resume including this big tech one), have cased before, and broadly interested in business with a preference for strategy, finance, and making lots of money.
