I'm at a non-target, so I have no resume drops, on-campus interviews or info sessions to figure out what the timeline is like for summer internship recruiting for the top-tier management consulting firms.
Could people at targets please shed some light on this, or better yet, give the dates that your things are happening? Specifically, MBB, Booz, OW, Deloitte, etc.
My understanding is that applications are usually due around early January, on-campus interviews and first-rounds are scheduled early-mid February, or sometimes early January. Would love some verification on this, though. Thanks.

McKinsey: resume drop 1/14, first round 1/31 Bain: resume drop 1/11, first round 1/30 Deloitte: resume drop 1/16, first round 2/4
Around the same for my target except first round is mid Feb

Wasn't sure if they'd be on my campus this year, since it tends to vary from year to year, but an alum put in me in touch with a recruiter and said if for some reason nothing shows up on our OCR to just apply by that date.
The easiest way to get this information for BCG/Bain (and probably to confirm with McKinsey) might be to e-mail the recruiter contacts at the office closest to your school, and ask about the deadlines. It'll probably put you at least a little bit on their radar, as well, since I'm sure the number of kids applying online is quite large.
