Hi all,

I'm a new grad/ new hire to TS in Big4 in NYC for the summer and would like to know if there are any books i can read on to prepare for the role. I know its mostly auditing or valuation so for new hires and there will be training but i just wanted to get a small jump before training. My background is Non target Undergrad 3.88 GPA . work exp in non-bb consulting firm and emerging mkt inv banking internship . And any advice on where to live will also be nice. I'm coming from the south and i know rent is expensive in manhattan so input on where to live in NJ,brooklyn etc would be nice.

Thanks for your help.

A studio in Battery Park City, expect to pay a bare minimum of 1500 a month with 1750 to 2000 being more likely, honestly NJ, Westchester, Brooklyn aren't that good of a deal. Halstead has some listing that weren't too bad pricewise, starting is 70 for Big 4 TAS? Here's one http://www.halstead.com/rental/ny/manhattan/midtown-east/321-east-54th-… http://www.halstead.com/rental/ny/manhattan/upper-eastside/east-89th-st…
