Waiting to hear back from 2nd round of interviews with Bain
I can't believe that the whole internet has no forums discussing this - believe me I've been looking.
Any junior undergrads out there who made it to Bain's second round of interviews for the summer AC position? I interviewed the Tuesday before last, and I've still heard nothing. Does this mean I'm out of the running, or at least an unlikely 2nd choice? Has anyone else been given an offer/declined? Given their friendly image, I would have at least expected a call or email, rather than silence...
By "I interviewed the Tuesday before last", I mean I had my second interview then, if that was unclear.
Why don't you call them to find out? Especially if it's been two weeks.
Good thinking for sure, I'm waiting for a call back from a contact before doing so. Regardless, I'm deadly curious to hear about other people's experiences if they're willing to share.
Sorry , you didn't get it. Bain usually calls the day of if not within a couple days, especially for ACI positions. But two weeks is an unusually long time though.
It all depends on when the other target schools interviewed. They usually know within 1-2 days of the last 2nd round date, but it could easily be two weeks between the start and end of the 2nd round depending on partner/manager schedules.
