Want to break into MBB consulting but no prior work experience

I'm currently an incoming third-year student at Ivey in the HBA program. I never really tried as hard as I should have in terms of recruiting in my first two-years as I had interests outside of business. Most internships I applied to were cancelled due to the pandemic in second-year and the furthest I got was being told by an employer after an interview and assessment that I would have gotten an offer had the pandemic not resulted in the internship program being cancelled.

My two-year average is 86.6% (3.9 GPA I think) and I have quite a lot of relevant leadership experience, along with math courses that demonstrate abilities such as critical thinking, problem solving and analytics. I tutor math on the side as well. I'm really worried that I won't have any chance with MBB recruiting given my lack of summer work experience.

How is an 86% a 3.9? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 86% equivalent to 3.44? But by no prior work experience what do you mean exactly? Is it no consulting experience? Or no summer internships period? If the former, as long as you've done something productive during your summers you're probably going to be able to spin it into something semi-relevant. Also yeah I wouldn't sweat the fact that you don't have an internship this summer. Lots of people got fucked by covid
