Weird EY Post-Super Day Email
I recently had a Super Day with EY for a Business Valuation Summer Associate 2026 role. Earlier today, I received an email saying: “Your application has been sent to our Applicant Tracking System. You’re invited to join the EY Talent Community.” It then goes on to list a bunch of info about how to reset my password, update my info, etc. I’m a bit confused about what this means — does this usually come before an offer, rejection, or just tell me my info is in their system? Has anyone else received something similar after their Super Day? What was the outcome?
Update: 24 Hours later, I got the offer.
Based on the most helpful WSO content, receiving an email like this from EY after a Super Day can be a bit ambiguous. It typically indicates that your application has been processed and is now officially in their system, but it doesn't necessarily provide a clear signal about the outcome of your interview.
Some candidates have reported receiving similar emails before receiving an offer, while others have received them prior to a rejection. Essentially, it seems to be more of an administrative step rather than a direct indicator of your status. The invitation to join the EY Talent Community is likely a standard part of their process to keep candidates engaged and informed about future opportunities, regardless of the outcome of the current application.
If you're still unsure, it might be worth waiting a few more days for a more definitive update or reaching out to your recruiter for clarification. Good luck!

Pretty sure you're getting the offer. I got that email and a few minutes later I got a Status Update email that said, "We are pleased to extend you an offer."
What vertical did you apply for? Got email yesterday afternoon and nothing yet – kinda stressing.
Okay great, I got the first one and hopefully, the second will follow...? Congrats and thanks for ur help
It's common practice to not send any email or update for candidates that do not move forward. Being added to the talent community is the equivalent of a rejection. On rare occasions, they may have a candidate who reneged or additional headcount open where they look to their talent community, but that's extremely rare.
With firms like these, you can do all the right things and simply be second or third choice. The fact you've made it to super day is impressive, keep at it and something will come.
