Green hydrogen is simply too expensive and early stage for it to have any realistic upside. In the UAE the electricity from solar is relatively cheap which can bring the cost down however, it would still need extremely local as there is no infrastructure in place to support the transportation of the hydrogen. It’ll mainly be used by heavy industrials/refineries to meet their own ESG requirements.
