They worked on the otherside of a large TelCo deal. They worked for the challenger though and not for the large incumbents, that was MBB. Cool work regardless but probably comes with lower fees as a result

As another data point the Vault consulting guides where they rank consulting firms by asking consultants their views on different firms, AS wasn't even in the top 20 I believe in TMT, or maybe they were at the very bottom. I don't remember which but do remember being shocked because of how much people on websites like this talk AS up as if they are some elite TMT boutique but apparently people in the industry think much differently.

LEK isn't on the vault list either - I think you have to pay to be on it and I don't think either of those firms care

to be a little more straight forward I got recently offers at AS and Kearney

I did an extensive due diligence work and I did interview quite a number of people in my network (I am 10+ y experienced in corporate in TMT).

The end game is I’ m heading to Kearney.
in terms of brand recognition but not only that also diversity of the work (AS is 60% DD buy side ... and 90% telco needless to say but TMT got 3 letters not 1 and jobs in corporate strategy, operations, marketing,... will allow you to build a ‘complete’ profile), career progression, network, comp (slightly higher at K)...

PS : I’ m pretty confident this is applicable to OW/LEK too (and to state the obvious to MBB)

my two cents
