When does full-time undergraduate recruiting start?

Doing an IB internship this summer at an EB. Realizing that consulting might be a better fit for me for various reasons. When can I expect full-time recruiting to start? Any advice on how I can spin my story to prove I really want to do consulting in interviews?

When I did it (for IB) I was prepping all June and started having coffee chats with bankers in beginning of July. Then I started reaching out to them again end of July mentioning I was interested in FT program. Usually recruiting won’t start up until the end of internships and banks see what their needs are. I’d say it picked up by mid august and can continue through mid October. I remember by September I had a bunch of interviews at different places. Hope that helps
