When I try to exit will my GPA matter?

Currently a senior that has signed for FT. I'm in relax mode right now but accidentally bombed a major assignment. Currently have a 3.7 at a target. Assuming im not trying to do PE, will it really matter for exits as long as I have a 3.5+? For context Im most interested in tech/fintech. Thanks in advance!
