When to apply for McKinsey Summer Analyst role?
Deadline is August 30 but I’m wondering if there’s an advantage to applying earlier than that? I know that some firms use similar methods.

My guess is that it's rolling, based off the wide application window and the other MBBs deadlines being around the time of McKinsey apps opening. I could be 100% wrong tho
All MBBs use batch-based application reviews for NAMR if I recall correctly, meaning that for a given deadline it doesn't matter whether you apply now or later. Applying to one deadline versus another is a different story but I believe McKinsey for their Summer BA role this year only has a single deadline.
I've been doing some consulting prep for the role, however not fully ready yet. I've been holding off applying because I still feel like I should brush up. In my mind I believed that interviews may be carried out before the deadline for those who've applied. Would you recommend just applying?
