Which college would set me up to best land a job in Consulting or Investment Banking?

To specify, i'm talking about undergrad. George Washington University: I know this isn't a feeder school but I would most likely get a full merit scholarship. I have also heard that they do have a bit of on campus recruiting. Fordham: Well...its in NYC would this be helpful? I've heard they send more people into IB than consulting. Pitzer College: well recognized and there would be minimal competition for consulting. Bates or Wesleyan: Well recognized nescac schools, i could probably get good financial aid but probably not a huge scholarship. Bentley: Pros would be that there are many like minded people, cons are more competition and the school is probably considered less prestigious than every other one on the list.

Any other ones that I should consider? If you could rank these schools from best to worst that would be helpful.

Bates, Pitzer, and Wesleyan, I think, should be your top choices there.

They are all considered highly selective liberal arts colleges and definitely have alumni in the fields you want to get into. While banks won't come down and recruit in droves because they're so small and don't have a B-School, no one will doubt the caliber of your education. Slight edge towards Bates and Pitzer: I have met Bates alums in high finance and Pitzer is essentially a semi-target because they share OCR with all of the Claremont Colleges, so you have firms like Bain recruit there.

Bentley only sent 5 people to IB last year (employment report on website.) Fordham is a good school with their rose hill campus being better if you want to do IB. I know they have something similar to student run investment fund. Wesleyan or bates would be your best calls but I'd stick to Wesleyan. If you don't get into either of those schools, Fordham would be the next choice.
