MBB always pay decently related to the local CoL so the money shouldn't be an issue. If the firm is McKinsey or BCG, their global (or quasi-global in BCG's case) staffing model will still expose you to international clients and projects. Bain's local staffing model may mean limited project and, as a result, industry scope. If you're industry agnostic at this point, even with Bain you'll be fine but if you're into something like pharmaceuticals or aerospace there may not be a huge amount of projects in the local geography

 

I have friends working at the Istanbul offices of MBBs. At the post-undergrad level, you can expect around 2500€/month gross plus generous expense limits for meals and taxi. At post-MBA, the salary is around 6000€-7000€/mo plus bonus. Considering the low CoL and expensing policies, you can live a pretty comfortable life there.
