Application Confidentiality
What do people recommend when interested in a job posting but highly sensitive about your current employer finding out you are looking around? I'm in that situation and unsure whether it's risky to just apply online or if I should try to talk to someone at the hiring company first (recruiter, finance boss, etc.) to get more info and explain the sensitivity.
I know legally/professionally everything should be confidential anyway, but in reality some people talk.
Anyone been in a similar situation? Thoughts?
