BB Corp Finance NYC -> FL

Hi all,

Next year summer I'll be completing my 2-year analyst program at a top BB in corporate finance here in NYC and am thinking about moving to Florida. My only problem with this is that my current position gives me really great exposure and looks really good on my resume, but it wouldn't be possible if it weren't for moving to NYC. I don't think I'll have too much trouble finding another job but it still worries me.

Does anyone have experience leaving NYC and finding solid corporate finance positions in less favorable states? I'm thinking Tampa/Miami/Orlando/Jacksonville would have solid big 4 banking (BB or mid-tier) and consulting (PwC) presence for corporate finance which is what I'm aiming for. Would love some input to calm my nerves.
