Big 4 Deals vs boutique M&A, any advice?

I have been offered a grad role in a big 4 in Deals Advisory (work is predominantly Insolvency & Restructuring) where there is a possible option to switch to the corporate finance team in M&A etc. in a couple of years' time. The team is much larger with better/ bigger deals flowing through and the deals will be in a wider variety of businesses.

I also have an offer from a non-big 4 firm (think top 6) in their corporate finance team where I can get experience in restructuring, insolvency, M&A, valuations, etc. immediately in the first year as the team kind of alternates between deals. Obviously, the deals in this one are significantly smaller than the Big 4 role, but in the team, I would be working closer to the partners.

I am most interested in M&A and I want to learn as much as possible about large businesses and want the option to be able to (try and) go into investment banking or start my own business. In regards to Investment banking, I like the idea of restructuring investment banking aswell as other areas.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
