Carrying Value for forward contracts?
Sorry if it's not the right place, but I tried looking on Google and couldn't find a straight answer!
What does carrying value for a forward contract mean? Normally carrying value is just the cost of an asset minus the depreciation right? But I'm not what that means in the context of derivatives...
