Case Study for Corp Dev Position

Hi all,

I'm a COVID-burnout M&A Associate trying to transition to Corp Dev. I have an interview with a Tech company coming up and they are asking for a live case study consisting of valuation modeling + presentation.

Any ideas on how to prepare? I usually do DCFs, Comps, LBOs so don't know what's the expectation for a Corp Dev case study.

Thanks!

Tests are very random.

The prior CD role I had involved a three statement excel test while the current role involved no case study (which sorta makes sense for a few reasons).

Anyway, the DCF and Comps should be more than sufficient (would be surprised by LBO, but CD recruiting can be all over the place for case studies).
