Commercial Banking or Fp&a/FRP program
I've often heard these two paths are decent in terms of salary and having wlb but I wanted to compare the two in specific.
What would be a better path to take in the case of Commercial Banking at JPM vs Microsoft FRP or an adjacent F50 program?
I know that intern/entry level Comm banking is higher at BB but salary progression is a lot higher in FP&A/FRP type programs so I wanted a holistic comparison.
When comparing Commercial Banking at a BB like JPM to Microsoft's FRP or a similar F50 FP&A program, here’s a breakdown based on the most helpful WSO content:

Conclusion:
If your priority is initial compensation and stability, Commercial Banking at JPM might be the better choice. However, if you’re looking for long-term salary growth, diverse career opportunities, and a strong brand name, Microsoft’s FRP or a similar F50 FP&A program would likely be the superior path. The structured rotations, career progression, and exit opportunities make FP&A/FRP programs a more holistic option for ambitious professionals.
