Corp Dev & Strategy FT Roles
Rising junior, locked up a bulge bracket IB SA for next summer. Not complaining — I know how the recruiting cycle went this year, and I'm grateful for the seat. But I'd be lying if I said I haven't been quietly looking past the internship at what FT actually looks like, and corp dev / corporate strategy keeps coming up as the "smart money" exit that people don't talk about enough compared to the usual IB → PE . I am curious to know what your opinions might be on this route. Any information about comp, hours, and career trajectory would be super helpful.
