Corp Strategy in BB/EB?

Hey all, I'm interested in potentially going into corporate strategy after a few years in IB. I've read through a few threads on corporate strategy in investment banking firms, but I was wondering how the corporate strategy experience would be like in EB (Lazard, PJT, etc.) compared to BB. Would their salary, exit ops, etc different? Also, would breaking into corporate strategy for other industries from investment banking corporate strategy be a viable option? I'd appreciate any comment. Thanks.
