Corporate Development at Bloomberg

I've interviewed with Bloomberg for a Corporate Development role (M&A/strategy) and am at the stage where I've been asked how much I would like to earn (ex-bonus).
My previous experience is in Inv Banking (2.5 yrs as an analyst) earning $90K (ex-bonus).

The role would be associate level and would have many more responsibilities, including project management, modeling, pitches/meetings, etc. However, the hours are of course much less.

I've been thinking on asking for $120K, to account for the experience and responsibilities, with the understanding that bonuses are lower.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

What's the starting salary for an associate at your bank (it started at $120k in my day)? Or, said differently, what bump in salary were you expecting at fiscal year end? That should be your starting point.

If bonus expectations are guaranteed to be lower at BBerg, I would add 10-15% to the salary you would get next year at your bank. The rationale is easily defensible given a lower expected bonus (and therefore lower all-in comp).

Yes, but you're getting a lower bonus because you're working around 3/4 of the hours, no?

Just wondering, what channel does Bloomberg use for Corp Dev recruiting? Is it one of the major talent/recruiting agencies? site submission? referral?
