You will definitely be able to get interviews so long as deals are closed under your watch (I moved from Manufacturing to Healthcare and biggest key was having some deals closed), the key is just showing you can quickly learn and understand new markets.
Agreed. A decent deal sheet will get you interviews. Convincing them you have enough background in the industry to not make elementary errors of assumption will be the trick
Also, the earlier in your career you are the easier it is to move to a different industry.
