Once you have the first interview, GPA plays a far lower role. Though if you have a sub 3.0 that's not going to look great for you.

Depends on what company/industry, past work experience, and extra curricular involvement. I had a similar GPA and managed to get some interviews and offers (internship and FT) I was happy about. Just keep in mind you'll likely be interviewing against candidates with better grades, so you'll have to stand out in other ways.

Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in the first half hour at the table, then you are the sucker.
