Corporate Finance vs. Operations
I have offers in corporate finance with ACN and Operations with JPM. I'm about to graduate with a BBA in Finance and am currently studying for Level 1 CFA. My ultimate career goals is to work for a bank in an investment related role.
JPM is obviously a reputable bank but the job isn't aligned with my career goals. ACN, on the other hand, is less reputable but the role is more aligned with what I want to do career wise and will help me develop more finance and accounting skills than I would earn in operations (or at least I assume it will).
Would it be difficult to transfer from corporate finance at ACN to a role in corporate finance, corporate banking, private banking, or private wealth management with a large bank down after 2-3 years?
Corp fin over ops, you can try and lateral to an F500/corporate banking role.
