Credit Analysts outside of the US?

Hi there,

I'm an American working for a domestic commercial bank as a credit analyst, but I might move abroad with my girlfriend. The destination country is dependent on where she finds work, but would likely be in Europe (although SE Asia is likely as well). Do foreign banks have a need for credit analysts like in the states? How is corporate finance different, especially since GAP no longer applies? Has anyone made the transition from a domestic banking position to one abroad, and what was it like?

Thanks!
